Reign of Destiny is a combination of strategy, role-play and adventure set in the Middle Ages, a period dominated by palatial disputes and wars between knights. Your role in this adventure is that of a queen who, after being betrayed, must recover her throne and her empire, defeating all the enemies that led her to exile in the first place. Fortunately, you'll have a handful of friends to help you achieve this.

Important decisions right from the start

The first thing you must do when you start playing Reign of Destiny is choose whether you want your character to be a king or a queen. The default character is the queen, but you can choose a male avatar if you prefer. After this first step, you can choose your character's name and start making important decisions. Your kingdom needs you, and your decisions, whether good or bad, will determine the success or failure of your reign. Each decision you make will bring you different advantages, so be sure to choose carefully.

Simple and fun game mechanics

The gameplay in Reign of Destiny is very similar to that of other strategy RPGs of the same type. You can see your next goals and the rewards you'll get from completing them in the missions menu. It's best to complete all these missions one by one since they follow a linear progression, gradually unlocking all parts of the game. As you progress through the story, you'll also meet new characters -many of them allies- who will join your cause and fight alongside you. Tons of heroes to recruit

One of the most important mechanics in Reign of Destiny is hero management. You can see each one's attributes, special abilities and equipment in the heroes tab. You can level them up if you have enough money, allowing you to increase the general power of your entire empire, which is particularly useful for the battles that take place throughout the main campaign. These battles, which are settled quite easily, will test the strength of your four best heroes against your rivals'. Only by winning these conflicts can you progress through the story.
